Making Ten

In kindergarten, we made bracelets of ten beads.  These can be used to show all of the ways to make ten.

World's Largest Animals

In fifth grade, we studied some of the largest animals on earth.  We created a graphic of their height or length in a ration of one inch to one foot.  We drew ourselves using the same ration.

SLIME

In second grade, we made slime.  We learned that it was not a solid, liquid, or gas, but rather something called non-Newtonian fluid.  It acts like both a solid and a liquid.

Screaming Balloons

In fourth grade, we created "screaming balloons."  By adding a hex nut to a balloon, we learned about centripetal force (center seeking motion) and vibration.  When the balloon is swirled, the sound is like that of a scream.

Read all about and then...

Read those newspapers and then please send them to L.E.A.D.  We can use them for STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) lessons.  Thanks!
